Rohit Gurunath Sharma was born on April 30, 1987, in Bansod, Nagpur, Maharashtra. He grew up in a middle-class family where his father worked as a caretaker of a transport firm storehouse. Rohit's journey in cricket began at a young age when he started playing cricket in the streets of Mumbai.
Rohit Sharma married Ritika Sajdeh, a sports manager, on December 13, 2015. The couple has a daughter named Samaira, born in December 2018. Rohit is known for his calm demeanor on and off the field, earning him the nickname "Hitman" for his explosive batting style.
Rohit Sharma is renowned for his elegant batting style, particularly his ability to play the pull shot and his timing. He is considered one of the best opening batsmen in limited-overs cricket and has the ability to accelerate the innings when needed. His calm captaincy style has also been praised by cricket experts.
